This video looks at the increasingly prevalent connection between social media and mental health, in particular the effects of taking selfies on mood, body image and self-esteem. A study presented in the video postulates that selfie-taking behaviour is concomitant with body checking behaviour, body dissatisfaction and overall vulnerability when it comes to mental health-related issues.
