Thrive Week: Tips to manage stress and help maintain your well-being
McMaster University is celebrating Thrive Week starting on Jan. 22 to 26. It’s a time for students, staff, faculty and alumni to come together and learn, discuss and explore ways to support their mental health.
Justin Weresch, physician and assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine, says stress regulation is one important component to maintaining your health. In the below video, he shares tips for coping with stress during study sessions.
Shayna Henry, physician and assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine, says it’s important to recognize aspects of daily life that can be bad for your mental health. In the below video, she shares five daily health hacks to find balance and cultivate moments of joy throughout your day.
