Congratulations to Team Steinberg Diabetes on their successful campaign!
MODR Co-Director Gregory Steinberg and his family, along with MODR members, raised $15,000 for Diabetes Canada for their fundraiser Lace Up for Diabetes!
Team Steinberg Diabetes made the goal to cycle, run or swim 8000km (the distance across Canada) to promote the benefits of physical activity and raise awareness and funding for Diabetes research. From Dr. Steinberg ‘It wasn’t easy riding 8000km but either is living with diabetes. There were many days when I thought we wouldn’t be able to do it but thanks to my family & everyone who supported us we made it!!’.
Collectively the team completed 17,715 km and raised $15,000 to help change the lives of people living with diabetes!
