Provides information for patients undergoing cancer treatment about the development of personalized radiotherapy.
This video hopes to educate those interested in new scientific research, or those undergoing cancer treatment interested in the development of personalized radiotherapy. This technique uses genetic analysis prior to treatment to determine when individuals will experience the least amount of side effects. Specifically, the study REQUITE focuses on breast cancer patient results, while a Toronto based Radiation Oncologist offers his insight on the future of personalized radiotherapy through a live interview.
