McMaster’s Faculty of Health Sciences ranks among the best in the world
The Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University has once again ranked among the top 50 health and medicine universities in the world in four major international university rankings, reinforcing McMaster’s reputation as a global leader in health.

The Faculty of Health Sciences is the birthplace of problem-based learning and evidence-based medicine. “The McMaster Model” is an approach to education developed at McMaster and adopted by many leading universities around the world that focuses on small-group, problem-based learning that fosters lifelong knowledge and growth and nurtures graduates who seamlessly integrate into research, clinical care, teaching and industry.
