The purpose of the video is to inspire individuals to volunteer and take part in organizations that advocate for education equality and raise awareness to help support the education of children from poor socioeconomic backgrounds. For example, there is an organization called Pencils for Kids that raises awareness about the lack of education in Libore, Niger. They raise funds and awareness to support the right for young girls to obtain an education. They also support local training programs and provide supplies to local schools to provide them with the appropriate learning resources. If you are interested in becoming involved in organizations such as Pencils for Kids, here is a list of similar organizations: Let’s Talk Science, McMaster Children & Youth University and The Impact Initiative McMaster.
