Football’s final drive? Running with CTE

Football has been frequently scrutinized over the past few years due to claims made by former players and their families, associating their drastic mood changes and cognitive decline with playing the game. The brains of many deceased players have been examined and diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in various studies (Mez et al., 2017). This video explores the relationship between concussions and the development of CTE and evaluates the common belief that repetitive concussive events cause CTE.
