Join us at the Terminal Diner as we explore the intersections of science, design, art, and humanity to shape the future of end-of-life care in Canada. Michelle Howard, an associate professor at McMaster University’s Department of Family Medicine, and co-principal investigator Sarina Isenberg from the University of Ottawa and Bruyère Research Institute, are interested in exploring what an ideal end-of-life healthcare journey may look like. Inspired by the characteristics of a diner—and developed in collaboration with design researchers, clinicians, and people with lived experience–the Terminal Diner offers participants a unique opportunity to reflect on and “order” their ideal end-of-life healthcare experience, as well as to leave “reviews” of a loved one’s end-of-life care.

Time: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed on weekends.
