Physician Assistant Education Program

The Physician Assistant (PA) Education Program trains health-care professionals to work collaboratively with a supervising physician to provide patient care and to extend physician services. The program is taught using inquiry and problem-based learning, which enhances each student’s ability to think critically, solve problems, demonstrate initiative and independence in practice and promote lifelong learning.

The goal of the PA program is to create physician assistants who are ready to enter health-care as adaptable, knowledgeable and competent health practitioners dedicated to lifelong learning.
