Dr. Ronald Ramos Appointed Assistant Professor, Division of Neurology

Dr. Ramos has a keen interest in acute neurological care, and optimal treatment strategies for patients with brain tumors.
Congratulations to Dr. Ronald Ramos on his appointment as Assistant Professor, Division of Neurology, Department of Medicine, effective February 1, 2022.
Dr. Ramos has recently completed a three-year clinical fellowship in Neuro-Oncology at the University of Toronto. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in medical technology and his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, and completed his postgraduate training in Neurology at Makati Medical Center in the Philippines. He had worked as a general neurologist and hospitalist prior to coming to Canada. He was also involved in a mobile neurology clinic that provides basic medical care to impoverished communities in the Philippines.
Dr. Ramos has a keen interest in acute neurological care, and optimal treatment strategies for patients with primary brain tumors with the goal of improving their survival and quality of life.
He will be primarily sited at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital.
