Breakthrough Treatment Pathways for Severe Asthma Reduce Corticosteroid Dependence

Dr. Parameswaran Nair and a team of researchers from the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, together with colleagues at other partnering institutions, have developed a new method to treat severe asthma. The results were published in the New England Journal of Medicine, one of the world’s most influential medical publications.
