Adderall is classified as an amphetamine that is highly addictive. It is a drug that can be prescribed to those who have ADHD; however, it is often abused by university and college students. It is called the “study drug” for those who abuse it because it increases concentration and creates intense invigoration and euphoria. This video looks at Adderall and how it works in both the body and the brain.
It is also important to emphasize the mental health aspect of this video. Studies have shown that students try Adderall due to stress. We want to help students to understand the dangers of Adderall. We can help them manage their stress so that they would not depend on Adderall or to help fight their addiction by outlining some resources available to them.
