This video presents an overview of multiple sclerosis (MS) and current research. Many people in the world are affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), but what exactly is MS? MS is a demyelinating autoimmune disease that attacks the protective covering of the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, which can lead to various symptoms. While most forms of MS are now very manageable with advances in medicine, more research is needed to find a cure.
