Cholesterol is a form of lipid that is required in our body. It is obtained through our diets and also made by our liver. There are many forms of cholesterol in our body. This video compares the two types of cholesterol:
- LDL (Low-density lipoprotein), the form of cholesterol that is “bad” and that we want to minimize in our bodies.
- HDL (High-density lipoproteins), the form that we want to maximize.
