The goal of telemedicine is not to replace traditional medicine however, it aims to enhance the quality of care that is provided while increasing efficiency.
With the growing concerns of this pandemic, it has been difficult for people to obtain medical attention for their pre-existing conditions. Therefore, using Telemedicine patients can virtually connect with their physicians to get the help they need regardless of their geographical distances. Telemedicine allows physicians to provide care for patients using online platforms. The goal of telemedicine is not to replace traditional medicine however, it aims to enhance the quality of care that is provided while increasing efficiency. As technologies continue to develop and progress, this idea has the potential to be frequently utilized in our Canadian Medical System and revolutionize our approach to healthcare.
