MedSIS CBME Module: New Competence Committee Review Dashboard

We are ready to launch our new Competence Committee Review Dashboard. Our hope is this dashboard will:

• Streamline competence committee processes
• Facilitate meetings
• House/centralize all relevant committee meeting documentation
• Improve transparency of what is reviewed as part of decision making processes
• Alleviate some of the current prep work of emailing files to reviewers/cc members

The Competence Committee Review Dashboard allows programs to:

• Create various competence committee checklist templates an assign to trainees
• Apply template forms to checklists for coaches, trainees and committees to download, complete and re-upload
• Track meeting dates, purpose of meetings, outcome decisions and overall statuses
• Customize a checklist for individual trainees based on specific needs

TRAINING SESSIONS

The following training sessions are being offered via Zoom to thoroughly review the functionality of the new dashboard.

Sessions are open to all CBME cohorts, however, this dashboard training will be included in the MedSIS CBME Module training offered in the Spring to new programs transitioning to CBME July 2021.

Competence Committee Dashboard Training for Program Administrators

It’s extremely important for Program Administrators to attend training to learn how to setup and assign the competence committee reviews.
November 19th from 12:00-1:00pm
November 26th from 12:00-1:00pm

• Setting up competence committee checklists
• Assigning the checklists to trainees
• How the dashboard facilitates a competence committee review
• How to customize a dashboard for a specific trainee
• Who has access to the competence committee dashboard

Competence Committee Dashboard Training for PDs, Academic Coaches and Competence Committee Members (Program Administrators Welcome)
