Luckily, we have a powerful army of specialized organs, cells, and tissues that work together to protect us. This is your body’s immune system. Within this complex system is type of lymphocyte called a T-cell. This video will introduce you to Helper and Cytotoxic T-cells, and describe the mechanism by which they are activated when encountered by a pathogen.
