Examines the misconceptions associated with the consumption of GMOs and their effect on health.
With films like Food inc., Forks over knives, and televisions series like the new Netflix original, Rotten, the topic of what and how food is produced has been gaining popularity. Many young adults are aware of what genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are; however, very few people are truly aware of whether these foods pose a risk to our health. Presented through a skit between a food scientist and a concerned individual, this video clarifies the myths and misconceptions associated with the consumption of GMOs and their effect on health.
