Faculty names director of human resources

Leslie Cooke-Bithrey is joining McMaster University as the director of human resources for the Faculty of Health Sciences. She starts in the role January 13, 2020.
Leslie Cooke-Bithrey is joining McMaster University as the director of human resources for the Faculty of Health Sciences.
She starts in the role January 13, 2020.
Cooke-Bithrey is a senior talent leader with more than 20 years of experience within private and public companies, including Carter’s Inc., Shoppers Drug Mart Corp., TDL Group Corp., and most recently, Eureka 93 Inc.
She holds a BA (Honours) degree from York University, a Human Resources Management Certificate from University of Toronto, and a Certified Human Resources Professional designation from the Human Resources Professionals Association.
“Leslie is a collaborative leader, with expertise in strategic human resources planning and a keen focus on identifying and developing talent to enhance organizational performance,” said Laura Harrington, assistant vice-president of the Faculty of Health Sciences. “As we act on the recommendations from the campus-wide human resources review, we know that Leslie will be a strong and capable leader.”
