Dr. Sameer Sharif Wins Early Career Award

The award is intended to foster academic excellence and advance educational, QIPS and research innovation in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Congratulations to Dr. Sameer Sharif on winning the Department of Medicine Early Career Award to support his research and medical education endeavours at McMaster University.
The award was established to provide career funding for early career educators, faculty engaged in QIPS, or researchers and ensure the competitiveness of the successful candidates. It is intended to foster academic excellence and advance educational, QIPS and research innovation in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Dr. Sharif is an Assistant Professor, Division of Critical Care & Emergency Medicine at the Department of Medicine. He is also a Clinician Educator and is currently completing his Master’s in Health Research Methods with a focus on sedation in the Emergency Department and ICU.
