Congratulations to Dr. Azim Gangji for the 2021 Program Director of the Year Award given by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Gangji is the Director of Nephrology and Transplant Fellowship Program, Department of Medicine, Committee Chair, Medicine Specialty Programs and the Vice President, Education at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton.
The Program Director of the Year Award is given annually to a program director who has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing residency education as evidenced by innovation and impact beyond his or her program. Up to two awards are presented annually. Award winners receive a plaque recognizing their contribution as well as travel and registration to the International Conference on Residency Education.
