Obstructive sleep apnea is a common sleep disorder that often goes unnoticed due to its unclear signs and symptoms. It occurs when the throat muscles block the passage of air which causes one to stop breathing for 10 – 60 seconds at a time. Sleep apnea can affect people of all ages, even kids. Make sure to go see your doctor if you think you have sleep apnea.
