Dealing with or providing care to someone who has dementia can be quite challenging. It is troubling for individuals to understand why individuals with dementia act the way they do. Changes in the behaviour of persons with dementia are caused by changes in the brain. This video provides a guide for individuals diagnosed with dementia, their families and caregivers. There are many tips and ways to familiarize yourself with communicating or providing care that family members and care providers can learn and help guide them in understanding the behaviour of individuals suffering from dementia.
