Chair’s Medical Grand Rounds: Obesity Bias and Racism in Medicine – Similarities and Challenges

Objectives of the Grand Rounds are to describe bias and prejudice and its effect on medical care, take steps towards minimizing bias within their practice and identify systemic racism within society and medicine.

Speaker: Dr. Sean Wharton, Assistant Clinical Professor, Division of General Internal Medicine and Medical Director of the Wharton Medical Clinic in Burlington, Ontario.
