Alzheimer’s disease is a neurodegenerative disease and a form of dementia causing problems with brain function including memory, cognition and behaviour. This video will provide a brief showcase of the mechanisms, treatment and preventative measures of the disease. Dr. Margaret Fahnestock, a Professor from the Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences department at McMaster University, also provides insight on Alzheimer’s disease.
