This webinar, “A Conversation about Racism in Medicine”, was led by Dr. Kassia Johnson, who is a developmental pediatrician at Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.
The objectives of this talk were to better understand the constructs of race and racism in society, to learn about the connections between racism and medicine, and to begin the journey to self reflection that is necessary to disrupt racism and racist structure in the current world.
