Indigenous songs, stories and poetry filled the auditorium at the David Braley Health Sciences Centre in Hamilton in June.
The Department of Family Medicine and Indigenous Health Learning Lodge held an event in honour and celebration of Indigenous History Month and Pride Month.
It featured a powerful spoken word performance by artist Kahsenniyo Kick, who is deeply embedded in advocacy work across the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and songs by vocal group Kontirennanoron.
