Convocation occurs twice every year: Spring Convocation (May) and Fall Convocation (November).
The Rehabilitation Science graduate program sends an email out to all students with graduation information twice every year. In this email, students are asked to notify the program that they will be completing their degree requirements and would like to be included in the next convocation ceremony.
The Rehabilitation Science graduate program will confirm your eligibility for graduation by reviewing your academic record. Students can review their academic record by viewing their Academic Advisement Report on Mosaic.
If the program finds that you are eligible to graduate, the program will declare you as “Eligible to Graduate” and will share this information to the School of Graduate Studies. Since the program will be declaring your eligibility to graduate, you do not need to apply to graduate. Your status will remain as “eligible” to graduate on Mosaic until final grades and academic standing are reviewed.
Once you have completed all your degree requirements (final grades posted, etc.), the program will assess your eligibility again. If all requirements are satisfied, the program will request to have your status changed from “Eligible” to “Approved”.

The Rehabilitation Science Student Ambassadors serve as official student representatives of their programs and liaise with graduate programs, prospective students and alumni.
The best way to contact Student Ambassadors is via email. Please put "Question to Ambassador" in the subject line to ensure that your message doesn't get lost. Please also note that all ambassadors are volunteers as well as current graduate students with busy schedules, so kindly allow 48 hours for their responses. Questions about admissions or program entrance requirements should be directed to the program's administrator. Graduate Student Ambassadors will be happy to answer questions about graduate student life at McMaster and their experiences within their respective programs.
