Social, Transcultural & Environmental Psychiatry

Social and Transcultural Psychiatry, closely connected to our work in Global Health, brings together our work in Global Health, Indigenous Mental Health, Anti-Black Racism, and LGBTQ2S+, initiatives that respond to inequities in the way care is accessed and delivered, social determinants as well as initiatives aimed at particular communities and populations who experience challenges in accessing the mental health system. It also includes our work with wider health systems including primary care, quality improvement, and the relationship between climate change and mental health in all its dimensions.
