  • MERIT Rounds - Defining the Future of Patient-Focused Assessment (Dan Schumacher)

    This presentation will discuss literature that illuminates the seemingly common experience of training outcomes not preparing graduates to be able to provide the care than patients need and deserve. With this foundation, patient-focused approaches to assessment will be argued as a way forward, positing that the future of high quality care depends on better physician performance assessment.
