Congratulations to Dr. Jill Rudkowski on her new position as the Assistant Secretary of the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools and the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACMS/CACME) Secretariat effective January 1, 2022.  Since 2019, she has served as a voting member of CACMS.  

Dr. Rudkowski is an Associate Professor, Division of Critical Care, Department of Medicine. She is the inaugural Competency Committee Chair for the McMaster Postgraduate Medicine Critical Care program. 

Dr. Rudkowski is also the Head of Service of both the Medical-Step Down/CCU and Intensive Care Units at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. She is completing her second term as the Chair of Clerkship and Concept Integration and Review and recently completed 9 years as the Director of Student Advising for the DeGroote School of Medicine.  

Dr. Rudkowski is extremely grateful for faculty and staff who continue to support the UGME Clerkship program and the UGME students.  She is excited to pass the torch to Dr. Helen Neighbour who takes over as Chair of Clerkship as of March 1, 2022.  Dr. Rudkowski will stay on until the end of June 2022 to support the transition and the Accreditation of the UGME program which is underway in anticipation of the CACMS visit in spring 2023.
