The Public Health & Preventive Medicine program at McMaster assesses candidates on the following criteria:

  • Interest in, and understanding of, Public Health & Preventive Medicine;
  • Academic performance to date;
  • Sufficient academic ability to be admitted to, and be successful in, Master's level training relevant to PH±
  • Suitability for clinical practice or Family Medicine;
  • Oral and written communication skills;
  • Potential contribution to McMaster's program; and
  • Potential impact as a Public Health & Preventive Medicine practitioner.
