Research helps us better understand how diseases develop and progress. This knowledge is needed to find the best treatment options for our patients. People who have lung disease, as well as people who do not, may be able to take part in a research study.
— Surveys or questionnaires
— Breathing tests and/or blood tests to study measurements and markers for specific aspects or severity of the disease
— New medication being tested
With the knowledge gained from any research study, better treatments might be available in the future to all of the patients and families we serve as well as people around the world.
