Dr Anurag Bhalla (BHSc-McMaster U, MD and Internal Medicine-Western U, Respirology-McMaster U) has been awarded the 2020 Freddy Hargreave Fellowship in Airway Diseases. 

He is currently pursuing his Masters in Medical Sciences at McMaster University in Dr Nair’s (shown above) laboratory, funded by a CIHR Canada Graduate Scholarship, and is enrolled in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Clinical Investigator Program.

This award is in recognition to the late Professor Frederick (Freddy) Hargreave, who was a pioneer in asthma research and patient care, and mentor to Dr. Nair who brought him to Canada and McMaster. See > here < for more details.
