The Health Ventures program will help you develop the essential entrepreneurial skills to identify opportunities, design innovative solutions, and bring health innovations to market.

Join us online in January 2022 to build your entrepreneurial skill set, network with likeminded peers as well as industry professionals, and take your project to the next level!

Read below to explore the courses available in January and contact us to discuss which of these might be best for you!

Health Ventures Level 1 (Health Ventures HVT 101)
You have an idea but you have not yet fully explored its impact potential (or maybe you’re just curious about health innovation and entrepreneurship but don’t have an idea at all). In this course, you will learn the basics of entrepreneurship and innovation development. Over the course of four months, you will work with your peers and coaches to create a full business plan. The course culminates in a final pitch where you will receive feedback and guidance for next steps to continue bringing your idea to life.

Innovation Project Course (Health Ventures HVT 102)
This course is for you if you are interested in exploring a health innovation idea and would benefit from a personalized coaching approach. In this course, you will be matched with a peer group as well as an innovation coach to meet bi-weekly, set milestones based on your goals, and learn from like-minded individuals.

Health Ventures Level 2 (Health Ventures HVT 103)
If you have an idea that has been confirmed to solve a real problem, then we want to see you in Health Ventures Level 2. In this course you will engage with patient advisors, health workers, and industry professionals to further validate the problem, solution, market, business model, and development strategy for your commercialization project.

Navigating Complexity in Healthcare (Health Ventures HVT 104)
Are you are curious about health systems and understanding how they must adapt to chaotic (e.g. COVID-19) and complex (e.g. new technology implementation) scenarios? In this course, you will learn about complexity theory and apply frameworks to case studies. You will use learnings from class discussions to develop a project plan for a new technology implementation or other change initiative.
