Members of PRISM (Promoting Recognition and Inclusivity across St. Joe’s and McMaster for Sexual, Gender, and Intersectional Minorities) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences will welcome Dr. Carys Massarella, MD, FRCPC on February 9th for Grand Rounds, 9am-10am, and Post-Rounds Research Workshop 10:15am-12pm. Our Department is committed to fostering a learning and working environment that respects all peoples and that fosters equity, diversity and inclusion. As part of this effort, over the past year and a half we have been offering a series of Rounds Presentations of 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences across the lifespan. PRISM is unanimous in the need to better highlight the experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ peoples across Canada. Dr. Carys Massarella brings a wealth of expertise in this area, and we look forward to the leadership Dr. Massarella will bring on February 9th.
Please email the Research Office to register for the 10:15am workshop and receive the workshop link.
