You may think of 3D printing as the technology that gave you your favourite toy as a kid, but today 3D printing can accomplish so much more than that! The past 30 years has shown incredible advancements in techniques and machinery of this technology. The applications of 3D printing in the medical field, in particular, have provided professionals with the ability to perform tasks as complicated as face transplants, as seen in patients like Cameron Underwood. Science doesn’t seem to be slowing down, showing the unlimited nature of the growth in this field. So, what’s next?
