Demystifying Medicine Video



This video answers key questions about the opioid crisis in Canada and across North America. Overdose deaths involving prescription opioids have been increasing. In 2016 there were 2,861 apparent opioid-related deaths were recorded in Canada and at least 1,460 from January to June 2017, which makes it the deadliest drug crisis in Canadian history, according to statistics from the Government of Canada.
