Hamilton General Hospital
The Adult Cardiac Anesthesia Program at the Hamilton General Hospital provides exceptional and compassionate care in a large, tertiary academic centre. Affiliated with McMaster University, the department has one of the highest volumes of cardiac surgical cases in the country.
The one-year fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and Perioperative Transesophageal Echo is committed to providing the highest quality training for the future leaders and practitioners of cardiac anesthesia.

On average, 1,700 cardiac cases are completed per year at the Hamilton General Hospital in the operating room with approximately 40% of these being valve cases.
